About
Angus
Angus
Mackie is a professional forester who has lived and worked
in the Highlands of Scotland for most of the last 25 years.
My
interests include photography, sailing and mountaineering.
I am also a qualified Summer Mountain Leader and a member
of Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team.
The
photographs in the galleries are a mixture of scanned images
from slide film from Olympus OM2 and OM4 cameras, and digital
photographs from Canon EOS 350D and 50D cameras.
I
recently moved into panoramic photography, with some exciting
developments. During 2009 I was commissioned by the BBC
to produce a number of panoramic images from the summits
of Scottish mountains. The panoramas and timelapses will
form part of a soon to be released BBC
Scotland Outdoors website.
I have also photographed and produced a number of Audio
Visual presentations covering the Highlands and Islands.
As I develop digital Audio Visual techniques further, I
hope to add streamed AV sequences into this website in the
future.
